Who We Are
Emmanuel Covenant Church is a body of Trinitarian Christians who gather for worship each Lord’s Day in the northwest valley, and scatter to do the work of the gospel throughout the week. We love our Savior Jesus Christ, we love to gather to worship Him in a serious and joy-filled way, and we love to serve Him by continuing each day to execute our callings as His people, saved by His blood.
What We Believe
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Maker of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:
Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;
He descended into hades.
The third day He arose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost;
the holy catholic church;
the communion of saints;
the forgiveness of sins;
the resurrection of the body;
and the life everlasting.
What We Do
At Emmanuel, we are not only concerned with believing the Gospel – the entire story of God’s redemption of the world through giving Himself as revealed in the 66 books of the Bible – we are committed to living out this gospel in the context of our families, our church community, and the city in which we live. We believe that Jesus not only taught powerful and world-altering doctrine, but he healed, he fed, and he suffered for people on the cross. Then he forever changed history by his resurrection from the dead.
